THE SHOW

This show is primarily aimed at the ‘disposable income’ 50-70 age group who loved the Kinks in their youth.

And with Ray Davies & The Kinks being major influences on bands like Oasis and Blur there is a ‘cool’ element that appeals to a free-spending younger generation.

Ray Davies & The Kinks music also attracts many musicians and songwriters.

THE MEAL + SHOW

This package appeals to people who enjoy civilised surroundings, and is designed for venues/restaurants/bistros that serve quality food with a capacity of 40+ seats (with an unobstructed view of the performance area).

And how better to do that than offer an exclusive ticketed ‘meal + show’ package where the customer can enjoy a quality meal followed by an entertaining show - without having to move from their seat.

THE PERFORMER

EAN J (Ean Jones) has been a professional musician, singer, and entertainer since he was 20 and has performed over 3000 shows to more than a million people.

As a massive fan of the songs of Ray Davies & The Kinks he has wanted to create and perform this show for years - and he finally has!

THE £ ARRANGEMENT

We suggest this package at an introductory price of £29.50 per ticket including a 2-course meal + live show.

The breakdown on this ticket would be £17.00 to the host venue and £12.50 to us.

The 2-course menu provided by the host venue would have a minimum of 3 choices of mains + 3 choices of dessert (each with a vegan option) and this can include ‘bar meal standards’.

The artist performs 2 x 40min spots immediately after desserts are cleared and drinks replenished.

THE LOCATIONS

We are aiming to secure ONE single hosting venue in each town in Scotland, and a maximum of TWO hosting venues in each Scottish city.

  • The Spring 2025 tour will concentrate on the North/North East of Scotland and the Autumn 2025 tour further south.

THE DAY OF THE WEEK?

We are flexible, but it often makes sense to hold the event when it is quieter. The target audience for this show (similar to a theatre and concert audience) will come out midweek, so Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday evenings are all great options.

You may consider holding the event on a night you normally close or even an afternoon: whatever works for you. Fridays and Saturdays are also available if requested.

* midweek dates are also perfect to accommodate attendance of local musicians and singers

THE TICKETS

We sell the tickets on our website using STRIPE and through national ticket agencies. For sales that come from our own website we absorb the transaction fees from our percentage.

We are also delighted if a hosting venue is prepared to sell tickets in-house.

Tickets purchased from national ticket agencies are subject to their surcharges and therefore do not play too a large part in our income revenue. However, being listed on these websites does bring national exposure to both artist and host venue.

THE £ PAYMENT

Payment from ourselves to the host venue can be made immediately by bank transfer once the number of attendees has been confirmed.

Where the host venue also sells tickets, the income directly received by the host venue can de deducted from our payment.

THE EQUIPMENT & SETUP

REQUIRES MINIMAL SPACE!

5ft square including Bose S1 Pro+ speaker for fantastic sound quality.

This compact but amazing piece of equipment is suitable for up to 80 people and provides crystal clear audio whilst also being inobtrusive.

THE RUNNING ORDER

The target audience for this show generally does not want to be out too late, especially midweek! So these are the guidelines that we generally recommend:

DOORS OPEN @ 6.30pm

MEAL SERVED @ 7pm

SHOW (1st half) @ 8.30pm

INTERVAL @ 9.10pm

SHOW (2nd half) @ 9.20pm

SHOW FINISHES @ 10pm

To increase bar sales and smoothen the evening we recommend (but not insist) advising clients that the bar will be closed during performances and interval drinks can be pre-ordered in advance.

  • We supply you with as much physical publicity as you request: posters, leaflets, standup holders, etc.
